Holly Kimbrough was born and raised in the small town of Marlow, Oklahoma. In high school, Holly served as the Editor of her high school newspaper and was known as the one most likely to become an author.
Although Holly still loves to read and write, she actually earned a Bachelor of Science in Language Arts Education from OU in May of 2000. While in college, Holly was active in the OU BSU and her church.
From 2000-2002, Holly worked for a paper and office supply company in Norman before joining the staff in September 2002 as the administrative secretary. Since joining the OU staff, Holly estimates she has heard the phrase, "Holly, I have a question." about 10,000 times and counting. In addition to answering questions and helping staff and students, she helps with various other BSU ministries, leading bible studies, and occasionally serving as staff at the summer training program Project Impact. She loves her job, and has been known as answering her home or cell phone, "Baptist Student Center, this is Holly."
In her spare time, Holly enjoys making quilts for her friends and family. She also loves watching college football, TLC, History Channel, and the Cooking Network, as well as playing computer games or Sudoku puzzles. However, Holly is an insane multi-tasker and is usually found doing at least two things at the same time!
