Current Students

Hello all you Sooners! OU is home to students from virtually every walk of life—with students from all 50 states and more than 100 foreign countries. No matter where you are from, we hope that we can help you adjust to college life and make OU a home away from home, and the BSU an extension of your family.

We offer different levels of involvement from the large-group (Paradigm) to small groups or even one-on-one meetings. For sophomores through seniors who are committed to having a ministry while in college, we offer Ministry Teams (MT). Ministry teams are weekly meetings in staff homes where students pray together, receive specialized training, and encourage one another in their ministries. Since OU is such a large campus, each team has an area they try to reach out to with the Gospel.

If you are a transfer or would like to be considered for Ministry Team, we offer MT interviews in the late Spring semester. Or you can email us for more information.

Our desire is to entrust the Truth of God to faithful men and women at the University of Oklahoma who will stand firm in the face of culture. We want to help you become students who yearn to know, love, and glorify God and in dependence upon Him, to develop multiplying disciples to reach the nations. Through our events, and more importantly, the people at the events, we hope to accomplish this goal. Baptist Student Union has a lot to offer you, and we hope that you find something to get involved in while you are here.
