The Baptist Student Union had its early beginnings in 1926 with a more extensive program started in the fall of 1934. Since those early days some 80 years ago, thousands of students have come through the ministry of the BSU. For the past 40 years, the heartbeat of the Baptist Student Union has been to make disciples of as many of the 25,000 Norman student body as possible! Our ultimate goal is to help each student we meet move closer to God, develop character in all areas of life, and to have a heart and vision for reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
